Workshop for the Physically Disabled |

This is a protective workspace which offers training and employment for 40 disabled crafters in various mediums such as candle making, leatherwork, beading, textile stenciling, sewing, woodwork, furniture restoration and card making. They are paid a small wage which supplements their disability grant. Crafters are collected from home and cared for while working at the facility.
There are no entry fee to the facility but visitors are encouraged to buy from the goods on display.

Outlets:
The items made are sold at The Rotary Stall in Templeman Square and the income generated acts as a vital resource for the purchase of new materials and fabric and helps to pay their wages. The workshop also undertakes small contracts such as carpentry and sewing (denim aprons) for saw millers.
